Bathroom wall lights are something that are used widely in other areas of the home but often not considered for the bathroom lighting scheme. Bathroom wall lights offer lighting for the bathroom tasks but also add some interest to the bathroom walls. Be warned though that to comply with electrical regulations you should only use wall lights that have been deemed suitable for use in a bathroom.
The first thing to consider is the look of the light itself. This may be a wall light, bathroom mirror light or ceiling light, and each of these types offers a whole variety of choice. If you have a bathroom with chrome based fittings, such as chrome taps, chrome towel rails and chrome handles on bathroom cupboards then it's probably a good idea to consider opting for bathroom lights with a chrome finish. Nickel plated lighting offers a beautifully warm look, but it's generally best to complement chrome with chrome rather than mix nickel and chrome together.
The reason why sconces are ideal to be put around mirrors especially in bathrooms where all the make up and beautifying is done is that sconce lighting fixtures provide adequate lighting especially of the face. Bathroom lighting sconces also come in small bulbs for bathrooms with inadequate space. But the scones in bathroom lights are not only for bordering mirrors, they also serve as decorative lighting for the whole bathroom itself.
