Comforter set king. I look for a gray and black or a black and silver comforter online and in stores for weeks, and I couldn't find anything that I really liked. So I decided to make my own, I went to Jo-ann fabrics and found some silver trim, some rhinestones and some fabric that I liked, and this is the outcome of my design. I made four throw pillows one silver, one, black with silver trim or red one of the zebra trim and a long zebra pillow.
I also made two black satin pillowcases, with the same silver trim and two pool shams that are red right here with the white trim. I also crocheted the comforter right here at the end of the bed is so red black and white. So let's get started and I'll show you how I design my comforter set. This is the black-and-gray reversible comforter that I purchased from Walmart. I only decorated the black side of the comforter, with silver trim that I got from Jo-ann fabrics. I used a measuring gauge to pin the trim evenly all the way around the bed.
Then I sold the trim on using my sewing machine after sewing the trim. I spread the comforter on my bed and place the rhinestones at various points on the comforter and glued them on now. These are the two black satin pillowcases I made using the same trim I use for the comforter. I use three spools of trim to complete my projects, and these are the rhinestones that I use. I also crocheted a red black and white, throw that you see at the foot of the bed. However, I made that years ago. I hope you get some ideas from my design to create your own.
